Less then 9 hours away!!!!!!!

Alright we're less then 9 hours away from the official start of E3 here people, if you aren't amped yet something is WRONG!!!!  Nintendo is ready to steal the show again, they have a total of FOUR press conferences...  One happened Sunday at like 6PM, and if you're like me and had to work and missed it, here is the video:


They speak of an updated controller design, involving dual joySTICKS instead of PADS, as well as a "tv" button that will turn your tv on, as well as an NFC button.  Furthermore, a rather classical controller design with a more traditional style calling it a "Pro Controller,"



Personally both of these bits of news excite me greatly, it means Nintendo cares about what their customers think, buuuuut not enough to change the name of their new console lol.

Their next conference is the main one on Tuesday at 12:00PM.  This is the one where; if they have it, will show a video clip of the new smash bros., as well as announce games for the Wii U, we will hopefully find out about this new Retro Studios game at this conference as well.  The 3rd conference will take place later on tuesday night around 9PM where developers (3rd parties and more) will discuss the Wii U.  Then finally the 4th conference will be Wednesday night at 9PM and will be focused SOLELY on Wii U software.

I must sleep now though, because I must wake up in less then 9 hours to catch the beginning of E3, which kicks off with Microsofts press conference at 12:30PM!!!!!

Three Mudda Flippin' Days till E3!!!!!!!!!!!!

With E3 JUST over the horizon, there is news of what's to come popping up left and right!  For starters, a Dead Space 3, as well as a 4rth Gears of War title have already been confirmed to make an appearance at this years E3.  Dead Space 3 is said to supposedly feature co-op, and the new Gears of War game could possibly be a prequel leading up to the event of Marcus Fenix's arrest, more on that at E3 I'm sure.

Furthermore, there has been an E3 trailer released for the new Tomb Raider game:


And for those of you like me, who love Dark Souls, there's been new Dark Souls DLC announced "Artorias of the Abyss"!  This DLC will add new monsters, bosses, as well as new areas to explore. It's supposed to come out this winter, so expect to see footage of this at E3!


And lastly, but certainly not leastly (considering it has me the most giddy at this point) Star Wars!  I was thinking after the MMO Star Wars: The Old Republic was a popular topic at the past few E3's, and now that it's out, I wasn't expecting to see anything Star Wars related that would grab my attention.  However, if you guys love Bobba Fett, or Jango Fett, and/or loved the game "Bounty Hunter," you'll be as excited as I was to find out about "Star Wars: 1313".
        This is going to be a third person action cover and shooter game, where you play a Bounty Hunter in Coruscant hunting down targets, and it's going to be "Mature," heheheheheh >:-)


ALLLLLLLL of this!  And THEN some will be seen at E3!  YES!

Four Days till E3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

With only days left till the first day of E3, things are getting heated.  Particularly the hype about Nintendo.  Nintendo has lead the way at E3 on several occasions, and with the Wii-U slated for a Fall release, I'd say Nintendo fans are pretty amped about what games the Wii-U is going to have to offer.  Already on Nintendo's facebook page they posted 3 blanks that are supposed to be 3 different game titles that will be announced at E3, and they told the fans to start making guesses.  Alright, so the 3 titles have 33 characters, 27 characters, and 19 characters.  I have a guess for two of them already.



33 characters

Star Fox and Metroid: Fusion Saga -- This is the rumoured title for Retro Studios secret game, and it fits 33 characters.... Coincidence?????  Probably....

19 Characters

The Legend of Zelda --  An HD Zelda game would be phenomenal, every Nintendo fan wants one, and this fits the 19 character bill perfectly...  However, it seems like there would be more then just that for its title :-/

I want to know if you guys have any guesses as to what the 27 character title may be, or possibly any other titles that fit the 33 and 19 characters!

What to Expect at E3 2012

E3 is always very exciting, in fact, I can't recall any year being a year where I am like "ehh...  E3 this year is gonna blow."  No, E3 rocks every year.  Here is a brief list as to why E3 will rock THIS year...

Games and potential consoles to look forward to

Assassin's Creed 3 (Native American assassinating British people?  Heck yes!)


The Last of Us (A new spin on the post apocalyptic zombie invasion, created by Naughty Dog (did Uncharted series...) Yeah, that's right, it's going to be awesome.)


Tomb Raider (Finally getting that reboot so many fans wanted)


Resident Evil 6 (There has been hype about this game ever since it was announced over a year ago, still no hands on experiences out there, but I think that will change at E3!)



God of War: Ascension (Multiplayer in God of War? Whaaaaa-?)


Halo 4 (The moment all 360/Halo fans have been waiting for, will be revealed at E3 no doubt there will be some hot news on this game.)


Then of course last but not least The Nintendo's new console Wii U and it's games it will have to offer such as the new Super Smash Bros. game, New Super Mario Bros. 2, New Super Mario Bros. Mii, and the mystery title Retro Studios has been working on so fervently. (is it Starfox?  Is it Metroid?  Or could it possibly even be a Starfox/Metroid Crossover???!!!??!!?!?!!??!!)





There are many more games, to boot, including but not limited to Vita and 3DS titles (New smash bros. game on 3DS as well as Wii U? Whaaaaa-?)


There are rumors that The Xbox 720 will be revealed at E3 as well as the Playstation 4.  However, seeing as how the k'nect is just now getting a go at it, I find it hard to believe they will release another system so soon, unless it has k'nect built in or something.  As for the Playstation 4, with Move on the rise, as well as these new 3D glasses technology, AND the potential for the Vita to act as a Wii U-esque type controller, I just don't think we can expect a PS4 reveal. 

With so much potential left for the Playstation 3, and the Xbox 360, I just don't think we can expect to see a brand new different console till at least 2014.  The Wii U had to be released in order to catch up with the times of HD, online play etc.  Therefore, PS3 and 360 still won't really need to compete with much, they just need to focus on upgrading their current systems Move, Vita and K'nect technology, perhaps even an Xbox portable gaming system!!!!   But only time will tell...

E3 2012!!!!!!!!!

So normally I would start my post off with apologizing for not having posted any reviews of anything and what not in a looooong time, TOO long!..... Buuut I should probably stop apologizing unless I mean it, soooo instead I am going to apologize for giving out false apologizies, and making promises I can't keep.

ANYwho...



For those who don't know; E3, stands for Electronic Entertainment Expo... And it's pretty much THE video game event of the year.  It's where innovation is unveiled each year.  It's like.... The superbowl, for video game nerds.  And I know everyone can go to ign, or gamespot, or g4, or gameinformer, yada yada yada, BUT, I figured why not cover the coverage?  It'll be fun, and I might get SOME people interested or something I don't know.  E3 is only a week away, so I am going to be posting things throughout the week to maybe get people amped for this fantastical 3 day event taking place next week.
